***CLEARANCE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST***

The Dragon Claw is a new concept for our company. Unlike our other Knuckle Under back tension releases, it has no cam, no clicker, no hood and no moving parts. Its concept is simple; an adjustable “claw” (hook) that engages the string loop. The shooter draws back to full draw using the adjustable thumb barrel or with their thumb firmly on the body of the release, which acts as a safety and helps keep it from prematurely firing. One of the advantages of a hook over a hinge is the archer does not have to put as much pressure on the index and thumb side of the release. This makes it easier to pull back, for some archers.

The 2-Finger Dragon Claw is made of 6061 aircraft aluminum and is available in 3 anodized colors and in our proprietary Nickel-plated finish (slight upcharge) that looks like chrome and feels smoother and slicker to the touch than any other anodized release. The Dragon Claw is also available in hand-polished Brass (upcharge) and Chrome-plated brass (upcharge). There is also an optional wrist strap.

Price does NOT include the wrist strap. ORDER WRIST STRAP SEPARATELY .

If you are guilty of “cranking” the release (setting it off with your fingers/hand instead of your back muscles) and know you want to shoot true back tension, THIS IS THE RELEASE YOU SHOULD BE USING. It should only be shot with a strap. It is pulled back with the middle finger in the circle of the release and the index (pointer) finger on the finger grip to get it back. Once at full draw, pressure is released carefully from the index finger and the release will "settle" on the middle finger. Once it stops settling, a little bit of back tension is applied with the strap and the release goes off.

It can also be set slower and set off with the strap only. Once at full draw, pressure is released carefully from the index (pointer) finger and the release will "settle" on the middle finger. Once it stops moving, you can then carefully remove any pressure from the middle finger so NO PART OF YOUR HAND IS TOUCHING THE METAL... only the strap. Apply a little bit of back tension with the strap and the release goes off. TRUE BACK TENSION!

With either of these set-ups, the release should “settle” before it fires. (If it fires while the release is still moving on your finger, then slow it down.) After you start pulling with your back muscles, the release should fire in 3-4 seconds. If it doesn’t, then adjust the speed until it fires 3-4 seconds after back tension is started.
